Minjon Tholen

  • Change Management
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
  • Human Resources & Talent Management
  • Organizational Development

My work lives at the intersection of culture, strategy, and change leadership, helping organizations build the internal clarity, alignment, and momentum that drive their mission forward. Over nearly two decades, I have helped leaders feel more supported in navigating complexity, strengthened teams to function with greater trust and shared direction, and guided organizations to move with intention, integrity, and coherence. What connects all of that work is my core belief that internal ways of working are not just in support of the mission. They are part of the mission, and we can intentionally design and lead the cultures and systems that make that true.

Services:

  • Change management and organizational development
  • Strategic and operational planning
  • Leadership and team effectiveness
  • People, Culture & DEI strategy

Nonprofits I’ve worked with:

  • International human rights organizations and INGOs
  • Civil rights, social justice, and advocacy organizations
  • Foundations and philanthropic institutions
  • Public sector agencies and community-based organizations

Clients I work best with:

  • Senior leaders navigating significant change, transition, or organizational complexity
  • Organizations where culture, strategy, and operations need clarity and alignment
  • Teams that are improving their collaboration, effectiveness, and impact
  • Organizations ready to align how they operate with what they believe

Working with Minjon and Tapestry Transformation has been a true learning experience.  Instead of a template or playbook, she shows up with presence, precision, and a systems-level mindset. From our first conversation, she cut through the noise and plainly named what launching an L&D function inside a complex, mission-driven organization actually requires.  Minjon brought that firsthand knowledge and deep practitioner experience  to bear on everything we worked through together. Her read of organizational dynamics, change resistance, and the conditions that make a learning culture take hold has been right, repeatedly, in ways that matter.

What distinguishes this partnership above all else is integration. She connects strategy to culture, culture to leadership, and leadership to how the department would experience and take ownership of this work. She helped me think before the strategy and after it. Every deliverable landed with economy and intention. Every interaction was grounded in genuine respect for the complexity of what we are building and for the people we are building it for. Minjon models, in her own practice, exactly what she helps organizations become.
