As the Founder and Chief Engagement Officer of The Nonprofit Hive, I have been working to create a thriving space where nonprofit professionals, consultants, and changemakers come together to collaborate, share insights, and elevate their work.

I am a passionate community builder, event strategist, and engagement specialist with nearly 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. My love for bringing people together has fueled my career in events, engagement, and collective action. I believe in the power of community and what’s possible when changemakers unite with purpose. At The Nonprofit Hive, I’m dedicated to fostering connections, sparking collaboration, and creating spaces where nonprofit professionals can share ideas and turn them into action.

I am a passionate technology leader with over 15 years of experience building innovative web solutions. My love for creating impactful digital experiences has driven my career in software development and team leadership. I believe in the power of technology to transform organizations and what's possible when modern tools meet purposeful vision. I'm dedicated to architecting scalable solutions, fostering technical excellence, and creating platforms where meaningful connections can flourish.

I'm Amina Mohamed, Founder and Executive Director of Cameras For Girls, a Canadian charity equipping young women in Africa with photography and ethical storytelling skills to break into male-dominated media.

I am a nonprofit leader, strategist, and fundraiser with over two decades of experience helping organizations grow their impact. My work has taken me to 22 states and 8 countries, partnering with both hyper-local organizations and global nonprofits to strengthen fundraising, leadership, and strategy. I am passionate about building authentic relationships, sparking innovation, and equipping mission-driven leaders with tools to achieve bold, transformative change for the communities they serve.

I’ve held various nonprofit roles in different sectors. For the last 20 years, I've managed educational activities for associations and am currently the VP of Education for Healthcare Distribution Alliance. Beyond this role, I dedicate time to nonprofit organizations that align with my values. I'm currently the Board Chair for Assisting Families of Inmates (AFOI). I also regularly donate time and resources to Link Generations, Camp Erin Tampa Bay and The Big Fat Tip. I’m Shafkat Alam, a development professional based in Kolkata, India, and Joint Secretary of Tiljala SHED, working at the intersection of education, equity, and community-led change. For over a decade, I’ve focused on ensuring children—especially from waste picker and other vulnerable urban communities—have access not only to schooling, but to safe spaces to learn and grow. I’m passionate about strengthening nonprofit ecosystems, cross-border collaboration, and helping grassroots organizations become resilient and impact-driven.

I am a mission-driven leader passionate about improving health outcomes for all. I support organizations in: nurturing sustained partnerships; creating and scaling Communities of Practice where knowledge is shared, capacity is built, and impact achieved; and in turning strategic plans into actionable strategies. My approach is powered by the belief communities and individuals will move along their individual engagement journeys at the speed of trust and that nonprofits are the critical keepers of trust in their communities.

Maia Iva leads Petners, a nonprofit providing pet food and supplies to homeless and shelter animals of Ukraine. Since mid-2022, Petners have already helped over 250,000 animals. Petners has seen major success in nonconventional marketing: celebrity partnerships, event activations, and even raising money live on a techno radio. Maia has been consulting small nonprofits on all things marketing and alternative fundraising for over 4 years. Alongside her nonprofit work, Maia has built Kweet - an AI-powered donor growth tool designed to help nonprofits acquire and retain supporters.

I’m Pius Isabirye, a Ugandan youth leader and sustainability educator, and the Founder of Comrades to Youths Africa. I work with schools and young people to build leadership, climate literacy, and sustainability skills. I’m passionate about empowering youth to become active stewards of the environment and leaders who drive practical, community-based action toward the Sustainable Development Goals.

Anna Taylor is Executive Director of The Greater Sum Foundation, where she connects funding and support for early-stage nonprofits tackling urgent social challenges. Under her leadership, Greater Sum has supported over 150 organizations through strategic funding, capacity-building tools, and a virtual incubator model focused on long-term impact and sustainability.

Hi, I'm Eric! I lead in-house development at Haven Services and run my own consulting studio, Red Langur Strategies. Having spent my entire career in the sector, I’ve developed a special affinity for supporting individuals passionate about their mission. Through meaningful connection and understanding, my goal is to build sustainable development and partnership strategies that truly empower the people doing the work.

Gordon Goldschleger is a former nonprofit executive who advises purpose-driven organizations on execution. He is most often called in when strategy no longer guides decisions, impact is reported in activities instead of outcomes, governance and leadership are creating friction, or growth has outpaced the organization’s structures.

I'm Kathy Archer, a leadership coach and former nonprofit leader who knows firsthand how heavy and lonely this work can be. I help nonprofit leaders stop drowning in work, doubting themselves, and carrying it all alone so they can lead with confidence, set boundaries, and finally take control of their leadership and life. I've written two books, Character Driven Leadership for Women and Mastering Confidence, host the Surviving to Thriving podcast, and run The Training Library membership for nonprofit leaders.

Leah is a strategist, facilitator, and author who helps nonprofits break out of the status quo to innovate and drive meaningful change. As principal of Two Larks Consulting and author of Innovation for Social Change (Wiley, 2022), she brings deep expertise in program design, evaluation, and storytelling. On The Hive Advisory Board, Leah offers guidance on experimentation, learning, and bold thinking in service of sector-wide impact.

Julienne is a Filipino-Canadian nonprofit leader with a systems-thinking mindset and a strong focus on equity, strategy, and connection. With a background in science, adult education, and strategic management, she brings cross-sector insight and certified expertise in foresight and change management to The Hive Advisory Board. Her experience at a national nonprofit helps ground The Hive’s growth in both vision and real-world impact.

I’m the founder of Philanthropy Fuel, bringing 35 years of corporate sales and marketing leadership into the nonprofit sector. I help organizations move beyond transactional fundraising to design and activate authentic, long-term corporate partnerships that create sustainable impact. Through collaborative strategy, workshops, and hands-on guidance, I support fundraising and development teams in thinking like relationship builders, connecting their mission to the shared priorities of donors, employees, and business partners.

Eric Osuorah is a social entrepreneur and founder of AFOMA Marketplace, a global platform advancing fair trade and sustainable income for artisans. He also serves as a Director at AZONETA, a Canadian charity dedicated to poverty alleviation, quality education, and improved health and well-being.

Evan is a longtime nonprofit leader with 20+ years of experience across programming, philanthropy, and operations. Deeply committed to the wellbeing of in-house nonprofit practitioners, he brings a people-first mindset to every role he plays.
